What is Quality Management?

They are a set of actions and tools that aim to avoid possible errors or deviations in the production process and in the products or services obtained through it.

 

What is the objective of Quality Management?

The main objective is to increase customer satisfaction through continuous improvement processes.

that they can guarantee their ability to offer products and services that meet the demands of their customers, thanks to an international certification that gives them prestige and quality guarantees.

 

Which are the key components of Quality management? Describe in detail  each one.

1.    Leadership: To lead it is important to be clear about the path we are taking and where we want to go.

2.    Planning: It is very important to understand where we are and also to understand our arrival point very well.

3.    Support and Operation: This element refers to the way in which the organization decides to face the daily challenges of producing the services or products for its clients.

4.    Performance and Evaluation: It is the importance of observing and clearly understanding what it is that we are doing very well and can continue to strengthen, because it serves our client and it serves us as a company.

5.    Continuous Improvement: It is necessary to design the appropriate mechanisms to address these issues and treat them in the company.

 

Describe what Quality Management involves. (process)

Quality management implies that the project satisfies the needs for which it was undertaken.

·         Convert stakeholder needs and expectations into project requirements.

·         Achieve customer satisfaction when the project produces what is planned and the product meets the real needs.

·         Carry out preventive actions on the inspection.

·         Permanently seek perfection, that is, continuous improvement.

 

What does “Quality Improvement Methods” refer to? Explain in detail.

It is a method that aims to eliminate all the activities involved within the production and management processes of the company because they do not add any value.

The Kaizen Method, which refers to this exactly, comes to mind in continual improvement. Make big changes in the short term by making small improvements every day.

 

What are the Quality Management principle that the International Standard  for Quality Management adopt? Write a description of each. 

·         The customer: Meet customer expectations to meet demand.

 

·         Leadership: Internal stability depends largely on the established leadership direction.

 

·         Staff participation: The motivation of the members of the organization generates a greater commitment.

 

·         The process-based approach: Each employee of the company must be guided in order to achieve good results.

 

·         The system approach to management: Putting the procedures established by the organization into action or into practice generates interaction between each element of the quality management system.

 

·         Continuous improvement: Making small progress will make a big change happen in the short term.

 

·         The fact-based approach to decision making: The analysis of qualitative and quantitative data serves to measure the performance of the organization.

 

·         The relationship with suppliers: It is important to maintain a beneficial and reciprocal relationship with suppliers.

 

What are the benefits of Quality Management?

·         Sub-standard output spotted before it reaches the costumer.

·         Minimize disruption to production.

·         Applies a consistent standard to quality.

Exactly! costumer satisfaction is the most important task for Quality Management, quality is very important in the industry and many companies do not know that, it is really related with the competition in the market and its often the case that better quality enterprises have the lead in the market.
